Stone Town and Jozani Forest
Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel, and transfer to Stone Town to start a guided walking tour in Stone Town. Visit the Former Slave Market, House of Wonders, Sultan’s Palace, Old Arab Fort, and Dispensary. Stroll through narrow streets, old mosques, bazaars, and see the famous carved Zanzibar doors.
Noon: Continue with the Spice Tour. Walk through villages and plantations, tasting and smelling spices like cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, cloves, lemongrass, ginger, and more. Enjoy fresh tropical fruits and a traditional Zanzibar lunch made with local herbs.
Afternoon: Visit the coral caves and slave chambers in Mangapwani, then enjoy free time for a swim at the beach. Explore more historical spots such as Forodhani Garden, the Old Portuguese Fort, and Freddie Mercury’s house.
Evening: Take a short walking city tour to the old market, fish market, Hindu temples, and shopping areas. After the guided part, enjoy free time on your own, followed by a fun visit to the local street-food market at night.
Jozani Monkey Forest: Visit the Jozani Forest to see the rare Red Colobus Monkeys and walk through the mangrove trails. Continue to Kuza Cave to enjoy its clear waters, then stop by the Rock Restaurant and Paje Beach.
Spice Tour & Butterfly Man: Take a short walking tour on Spice Island to learn about and taste local spices like cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and vanilla. Enjoy fresh fruits, shop for spices, and meet the Butterfly Man for a fun cultural moment.
