Your Eclipse Day: Six Minutes of Darkness, Without the Heat
Midday in Luxor in early August is among the hottest moments of the year. While most eclipse watchers stand in the open sun for hours, you will watch the longest totality of the century from a private, air-conditioned 360° panoramic glass lounge, with telescopes, certified eye protection, an expert at your side and food served all day.

Eclipse times are approximate, in Luxor local time. Lounge temperature and schedule are indicative and may be adjusted for operational reasons.
Eye safety: never look at the Sun without certified eclipse glasses or a filtered telescope. Glasses may be removed only during the few minutes of totality, when the Sun is fully covered, and must go back on as soon as the light returns. Your expert will guide the group at each moment.

Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt. Our representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport, help you through arrival formalities and transfer you by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Saturday, 31 July 2027
Grand Egyptian Museum, Giza Plateau & Transfer to Hurghada
After breakfast and check-out, start with the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to the complete Tutankhamun collection. Continue to the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure and the Great Sphinx, with lunch along the way.
The tour ends at around 4:00 PM, then you transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Hurghada on the Red Sea. Check in at your resort and enjoy dinner.

A full day to rest before the big event. Enjoy the beach, swim in the Red Sea or relax by the pool. In the evening, your tour manager will brief the group on eclipse-day timings and safe viewing.

Total Solar Eclipse from a VIP Lounge in Luxor
Early drive from Hurghada to Luxor, arriving well before the eclipse begins. Settle into your private 360° panoramic glass lounge: air-conditioned, reserved for our group and set up with filtered solar telescopes.
After an expert lecture and safety briefing, everyone receives ISO 12312-2 & CE certified eclipse glasses. Watch the whole event, with about 6 minutes 22 seconds of totality at around 1:02 PM, while lunch, refreshments and cold drinks are served all day. In the afternoon, return to Hurghada for dinner at your resort.
