Day 2
: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Rabat focused on exploring the city’s rich history. Your visits will include Chellah and the Kasbah of Ouddaya. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to wander through the souks and bazaars of Rabat’s old medina. Next, relax at Café Maure on the banks of the Bouregreg River, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan tea break with mint tea and treats such as Kaab Ghazal and Ghariba.
Your journey then continues toward Fez, with stops in Volubilis and Meknes. The ancient archaeological site of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will be explored with a specialist guide who will introduce you to the Roman and Berber history preserved in its ruins. Continue to the imperial city of Meknes—built by Moulay Ismail and often called the “Versailles of Morocco.” With your local guide, you’ll visit highlights such as Bab El Mansour and Lhri, two of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Afterwards, proceed to Fez.
