These temples were built into the mountain side when Pharaoh Ramesses II ruled a long time ago, around the 13th century BC. They were constructed as a permanent honor for the pharaoh and his queen, Nefertari. The trip from Aswan to Abu Simbel usually takes about three and a half hours when going one way.

Have breakfast at your hotel in Aswan, then go to the cruise ship to board your Nile cruise before lunch, which is around 11:00 AM. After that, go see the beautiful Philae Temple, which is dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. You'll also take a look at the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan's old stone quarry — a huge stone block still stuck to the ground, giving you a cool idea of how ancient builders worked. Go back to the boat for dinner on board.

Sail to Kom Ombo and have breakfast while you're on the boat. Then, go see the impressive double temple that was built for Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, who is also known as Horus the Elder. In the afternoon, enjoy a cup of tea while sailing towards Esna, then have dinner and spend the night on the boat.

Travel from Luxor to the West Bank, have breakfast on the way, then visit the Royal Cemetery which is the resting place of 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings, and the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom under the rule of Pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC.

We start with a broad view from the Mount of Olives and then walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations.
